The North American Hockey League held its supplemental draft Tuesday, and one Colorado native was chosen.
With their first pick (ninth overall), the Janesville Jets selected Ethan Begg, a forward from the Shattuck-St. Mary’s program. In each of his four years in Faribault, Minn., the Golden native improved his points per game, and in January announced his NCAA Division I commitment to the University of Vermont.
Begg was selected in the seventh round of last week’s USHL Phase II Draft by the Madison Capitols.
During his youth career, Begg skated for the Colorado Thunderbirds.
