The USPHL has announced that Richmond Generals forward Austin Sawyer is the USPHL Southeast Division Elite Forward of the Week.

Sawyer, a 2002-born Colorado Springs native, posted a goal and four assists during a weekend split with the Hampton Roads Whalers.

Sawyer posted a 22-38-60 line in 42 games this season as a newcomer, showing the Generals’ ability to reload with great talent every year. 

Before the USPHL, Sawyer played for the Colorado Rampage and at Pine Creek High School.
