The USPHL held its annual NCDC Entry Draft last month as member teams selected players from the 2005 and 2006 birth years.

Several Colorado players and those with ties to the state were taken by NCDC clubs.

4th round – Quinn Metzger (Lone Tree), F, Northern Cyclones

19th round – Kolby Gapter (Arvada), D, Rockets Hockey Club

20th round – Derek Wood (Louisville), G, Rockets Hockey Club

26th round – Aiden Owen (Highlands Ranch), D, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

27th round – Charlie Murray (Iowa native, Colorado Thunderbirds), D, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights

31st round – Trey Hinton (Castle Rock), F, Mercer Chiefs
