The USPHL has announced that Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings blueliner Colby Brett has been named the Midwest West Division Defenseman of the Week.

Brett, a 2001-born Erie native, was all over the ice for the Riverkings as they pushed past the Dells Ducks last weekend. He had six points and was also a plus-6 for the weekend. He improved to 29 points in 41 games for this, his second USPHL Premier season.

Back home, Brett played for the Littleton Hawks, Boulder Bison and Colorado Thunderbirds.
