In eight starts, he allowed just 10 goals, while making 179 saves and posting the first two shutouts of his career. His first career shutout came against Army when he made 23 saves in leading Air Force to a 1-0 win over its service academy rival. Starrett also shutout Niagara with 14 saves in a 3-0 win on Jan. 22.
He held the opponent to one goal or less in six of his last eight games.
