Atlantic Hockey announced today that Niagara sophomore forward Shane Ott is the conference’s Player of the Week.

Ott scored two game-winning goals as the Purple Eagle swept ECAC Hockey’s Colgate.

The Centennial native led all Purple Eagles with three points and was plus-3 on the weekend. Ott also took a team-high 10 shots.

Niagara has now won five straight and is the only AHA team undefeated in non-conference play.

This is Ott’s third career Atlantic Hockey weekly honor and his first this season.

During his youth hockey days, Ott played for the Littleton Hawks and for Regis Jesuit High School.
