Eagles forward Garbowsky selected to 2017 ECHL All-Star Team

 

The ECHL has announced the roster for the ECHL All-Stars for the 2017 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic, presented by I LOVE NY, and forward Matt Garbowsky has been selected to represent the Colorado Eagles.

Garbowsky has posted 10 goals and 14 assists through the first 32 games of the season and is currently playing with a plus/minus rating of plus-10.

The 2017 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by I LOVE NY will feature the host Adirondack Thunder taking on the ECHL All-Stars in a non-traditional format featuring 5-on-5, 4-on-4 and 3-on-3 play, as well as a Skills Competition (Puck Relay, Hardest Shot, Fastest Skater) to highlight the talents of both teams.

The game will air live exclusively on NHL Network on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 8 p.m. ET from the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y.

Garbowsky made his ECHL debut during the 2015-16 season with the Elmira Jackals, notching seven goals and 14 assists in 33 games. He has also appeared in 24 total games with the Rochester Americans of the AHL, after making his professional debut with the Americans at the conclusion of the 2014-15 season.
