The NA3HL announced today that Helena Bighorns blueliner Taber Gutschick is the Bauer Hockey NA3HL Defenseman of the Month.

Led by the 19-year-old Gutschick, the Bighorns continued their undefeated season with a perfect record in the month of October.

The Colorado Springs native tied for the NA3HL scoring lead during the month with 25 points (two goals, 23 assists) in just nine games.

The NAPHL and Colorado Springs Tigers grad had six multi-point games during the month and recorded at least a point in all nine games.

For the season, Gutschick leads all NA3HL defensemen in scoring with 28 points, which also ranks tied for third among all NA3HL players.
