The NA3HL Frontier Division Star of the Week is Great Falls Americans goaltender JD Stephens.

Last weekend, the Aurora native recorded a .986 save percentage during two games against the Butte Irish.

On Friday, he shut the door on the Irish offense, turning away all 29 shots on goal. On Saturday, he once again stood tall in the net, making 44 saves on 45 shots.

“JD has been solid since his arrival,” said Great Falls head coach Greg Sears. “He works hard every day and gives us a chance to win every night.”

Back home, Stephens played for Cherry Creek High School.
