Highlands Ranch native Feinberg wraps junior hockey career, commits to NCAA Division III Suffolk
Phil Feinberg, a forward for the EHL’s Boston Jr. Terriers, has committed to NCAA Division III Suffolk for the fall of 2024.
The 2003-born native of Highlands Ranch joined the Terriers in late October of this past year, and over the course of 36 total EHL games, tallied 40 points on 21 goals and 19 assists.
“Phil was a huge part of our team this season,” said Terriers head coach and general manager Cody Gonyeau. “Not only was he able to capitalize on scoring chances, but he also helped our team’s chemistry by guiding our group into the right competitive factor for each game. We are lucky to have a player like Phil Feinberg be part of the Terriers’ family.
“We are looking forward to seeing what he can do next year at the college level.”
“It has been a crazy ride and I have so many people to thank including my parents, brothers, coaches and teammates, but also to Coach (Shawn) McEachern for giving me the opportunity to continue my hockey career at Suffolk University,” added Feinberg.
In addition to the Jr. Terriers, Feinberg also played junior hockey for the NAHL’s Northeast Generals, NA3HL’s Northeast Generals and NCDC’s South Shore Kings.
