The USPHL has announced that the Twin City Thunder’s Trace Norwell is the NCDC North Division’s Forward of the Week.

A second-year Thunder player, Norwell, a 2002 birth year from Erie, picked up a goal and two assists for three points in a pair of wins against the Boston Jr. Bruins.

Along with helping his Thunder move up into third place in a tight North Division, he also brought his points per game this year even to one through 18 games. Those 18 points also combine with 32 from last year for 50 in his 66-game career, putting him into a tie for third on the Thunder’s all-time scoring leaderboard.

Back home, Norwell played for the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders.
