ECAC Hockey men’s AVISION AHEAD weekly awards were announced Tuesday.

Denver native Kyle Hayton earned the league’s Player of the Week and Goaltender of the Week honors.

Hayton was 2-0-0 with a .930 save percentage and 1.50 goals-against average and helped the Saints to a weekend sweep of New Hampshire and Merrimack with 40 combined saves. He stopped 16 in the Saints’ 6-2 win over UNH on Friday and followed it up with a 24-save night in a 4-1 win over Merrimack on Saturday night.

During his youth hockey days, Hayton played for the CC Jr. Tigers, the Colorado Thunderbirds and the Colorado Hockey Club (now Rampage).

Hayton was also the 2015-16 Colorado Rubber Magazine NCAA Player of the Year.
