Durango native Brock heading back to home state with MSU Denver commitment

The NA3HL’s New Mexico Ice Wolves have announced that goaltender Evan Brock has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Metropolitan State University in Denver.

The Durango native played in two games for the Ice Wolves during the 2025-26 season, winning both.

“We’re excited to see Evan get this opportunity to continue his hockey career at the college level,” said Ice Wolves head coach Isaac Washburn. “He brings a great attitude to the rink every day and works hard at his craft while being an excellent teammate.”

Brock’s best performance between the pipes came against the Tulsa Oilers on Sep. 20, making 20 saves in a 7-3 win over the Oilers.

Back home, Brock played for Durango High School.
