The USPHL announced today that Ogden Mustangs defenseman Cameron Hawks is the Mountain Division Defenseman of the Week.

Hawks, a 2001 birth year out of San Diego, Calif., was getting the job done on both sides of the ice for the Mustangs, who are on a three-game winning streak and in first place in the division. Hawks scored a goal and three assists, and with 14 takeaways, he is tied for second on the team and for first among defensemen.

During his youth, Hawks played for the Colorado Thunderbirds and Rocky Mountain RoughRiders.
