Salt Lake City native Metcalf re-signs with ECHL’s Grizzlies for 2021-22 season
The ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies have signed goaltender Garrett Metcalf for the 2021-22 season, his second season as a professional.
Last season with the Grizzlies, the Salt Lake City native went 4-4-0 with a 2.33 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage in nine games.
Metcalf was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week on April 26 after picking up two wins for Utah.
Drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Metcalf played NCAA Division I hockey at UMass Lowell, Mercyhurst and Long Island University.
