Delaware captain Tiana McIntyre has been named the Atlantic Hockey America Defenseman of the Week.

McIntyre led all AHA skaters with four points on the week, assisting on all four of Delaware’s goals in its road split with Long Island. Saturday, the Park City native became the first Blue Hen to record three points in a game while posting the first multiple-point game of her career.

Three of her four helpers were primary assists, including her shot from the point that was tipped in for the game-winning goal Saturday in the third period in Delaware’s first-ever road victory. She had a plus-2 rating and two blocks on the weekend.

It is the first AHA weekly award for McIntyre, who leads Delaware in points (six) and has a three-game point-scoring streak.

McIntyre is the first female hockey player from Utah to make the USA Hockey National Girls Camp and the first female hockey player from Utah to play Division I college hockey. She previously played at Quinnipiac from 2022-25 before transferring to Delaware.
