The UCHC has announced that Alvernia senior defenseman Olivia Gilida is the UCHC Women’s Co-Player of the Week.

Gilida led Alvernia to a 2-0 week with three goals and an assist as the Golden Wolves secured their first MAC championship and earned home ice for the opening round of the UCHC championship tournament.

The Littleton native put Alvernia on the board with the opening goal of a 5-0 win on Friday. She then recorded two goals and added an assist in a 5-0 win on Saturday.

Back home, Gilida played for Team Colorado AAA.
