First-year Bulls NCDC star Monks takes next step, commits to ACHA powerhouse Adrian

Jimmy Monks is enjoying his first season with the NCDC’s Pueblo Bulls, tallying 12 points over his first 11 games.
Last week, the Detroit-area native committed to Adrian College, a perennial ACHA Division I powerhouse about 90 minutes south of his hometown of Wyandotte.
The majority of his 108 career games and his previous two seasons were with the Sarnia Legionnaires of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Prior to his junior career, Monks’ resume at the high school level with Gabriel Richard Catholic High School was impressive. He graduated as the program’s all-time leading scorer and had the most assists, finishing with 142 points in 83 games across three varsity seasons.
Monks is planning on studying Crisis Management-EMT while at Adrian College.
