Jaguars alum, Broomfield native Liebold off to ACHA hockey at Maryville
The NA3HL’s Texas Brahmas have announced that defenseman Aidan Liebold has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Maryville University.
Liebold spent one season in the NA3HL with the Brahmas, recording 16 points on two goals and 14 assists in 55 games while also serving as an alternate captain for the Brahmas.
“Really excited to see Aidan achieve this commitment,” said Brahmas head coach Michael Rooney. “Maryville gained a great presence in their locker room with a high hockey IQ.”
The Broomfield native’s best performance of the year came on Mar. 5 against the Tulsa Oilers when he recorded two assists to aid in the Brahmas’ 11-0 shutout victory over the Oilers.
Back home, Liebold played for the Hyland Hills Jaguars.
