The NA3HL’s Willmar WarHawks have announced that forward Max Jackson has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for North Dakota State University.

Jackson spent two seasons with the WarHawks and recorded 43 points (14 goals, 29 assists) across 47 games this season.

In February 2026, Jackson was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament, an event consisting of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. The Thornton native represented the NA3HL on Team Black and registered one assist during the tournament.

Jackson had multiple three-point games during the season and one of his best performances from the year came on Nov. 1, 2025, against the Minnesota Wilderness where he scored one goal and recorded two assists to aid in the WarHawks’ 7-5 victory.
