The NA3HL’s Helena Bighorns have announced that defenseman Garrett Lindsey has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Arizona State University.

The Colorado Springs native spent two seasons with the Bighorns, collecting six goals and 22 assists for 28 points in 72 regular-season games, adding one assists in 13 playoff games.

“Garrett was a member of our organization for two seasons and it was a pleasure to be able to coach him,” said Bighorns head coach Damon Hanson. “Garrett is a hard-working kid on and off the ice. We look forward to watching him grow as a player as he moves on in the next chapter of his hockey career. We, as an organization, wish Garrett all the best in the next four years at ASU.”

Lindsey’s best performance of the 2025-26 season came on Feb. 6 against the Butte Irish where he scored one goal to help aid the Bighorns in a 6-2 home victory.

Back in Colorado, Lindsey developed with the Colorado Rampage.
