Tigers grad, Pueblo native Feamster honored with weekly, monthly awards from NA3HL

The NA3HL announced today that the Bauer Hockey NA3HL Forward of the Month is Helena Bighorns forward Samuel Feamster.

A Pueblo native, Feamster tallied eight goals and four assists in four games during September, finding the scoresheet multiple times in each contest and notching two hat tricks in that span.

Feamster grabbed a stunning five goals and two assists — including one of his hat tricks — during opening weekend against the Sheridan Hawks, then posted two helpers against the Butte Cobras and capped off the month with another hat trick, this time against the Bozeman Icedogs.

Feamster was also tabbed the NA3HL Frontier Division Star of the Week today after posting his third hat trick of the young season and second in as many games on Friday while notching two assists as well. He then recorded another goal and an assist on Saturday to keep his season-long run of six consecutive multi-point outings alive.

On the season, Feamster boasts 19 points (12 goals, seven assists) in just six games this year, good for the outright league lead in goals and a share of the league lead in points.

During his youth hockey career, Feamster played for the Colorado Springs Tigers and also spent the 2020-21 season with the USPHL’s Pueblo Bulls.
