Thunderbirds alum Lackas named weekly EHL Top Performer
The EHL has announced that New England Wolves forward A.J. Lackas is one of the league’s Top Performers for Week No. 5.
Lackas and the Wolves keep chugging along as they picked up a pair of wins this past week over the New Hampshire Avalanche and the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, improving their overall record up to 10-1-1 for the season.
The stellar mark is far and away the best start to a season in franchise history for the Wolves.
As for the 2003-born native of Las Vegas, Lackas set the pace offensively for his team, scoring five total goals to go along with an additional assist. The six points increase the playmaker’s total up to 12 for the season, which puts him on a great pace to surpass the 31 total points he put up combined between the regular season and the postseason in 2021-22.
It’s also worth noting that two of Lackas’ five goals stood as the game-winners in each respective contest.
During his youth hockey career, Lackas spent time with the Colorado Thunderbirds.
