Grizzlies sign Gahagen to solidify goaltending corps with ECHL club
The Utah Grizzlies have signed goaltender Parker Gahagen for the 2020-21 ECHL season.
Gahagen played with three different clubs last season. He spent most of the time with the ECHL’s Newfoundland Growlers, where he had a 10-4-0 record with a .939 save percentage and a 1.81 goals-against average.
He also played with the SPHL’s Evansville Thunderbolts and two games with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.
Gahagen played his college hockey at Army from 2013-17, compiling 41 wins and 10 shutouts. Gahagen led the NCAA with a .937 save percentage in the 2015-16 season, his junior year, and also holds the Army career record for saves with 3,172.
