Former ECHL captain White inks deal with Grizzlies for ’20-21 campaign
The ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies have signed forward AJ White for the 2020-21 season.
White was the captain of the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads for the past two seasons and in three years with Idaho from 2017-20, White collected 126 points (41 goals, 85 assists) in 203 games.
Last season, the native of Dearborn, Mich., had 41 points (15 goals, 26 assists).
White also has professional experience with the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators and the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals and Providence Bruins.
Prior to turning pro, White attended UMass Lowell from 2012-16, where he scored 28 goals and added 51 assists for 79 points. During his freshman season, UMass Lowell reached the Frozen Four.
