DU’s Jaillet again claims NCHC Goaltender of the Week honors
Four different teams are represented among the Bauer National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 6-12, 2017, with University of Denver junior netminder Tanner Jaillet being named Goaltender of the Week.
Jaillet has now claimed Goaltender of the Week four times this season and six times in his career.

Jaillet led Denver to its 11th and 12th straight wins over in-state rival Colorado College, allowing only two goals in the series with one each night.
On Friday, he made 14 saves in a 2-1 victory, while helping DU go 2-for-2 on the penalty kill, making three saves short-handed. The next night, he was tested a bit more, stopping 22 shots in a 5-1 win, including 11 saves in the third period, with his only goal allowed coming on a CC power play. Despite the power-play goal, Jaillet still made nine saves short-handed Saturday, as Denver finished the series 5-for-6 on the penalty kill.
Jaillet finished the weekend with a .947 save percentage, totaling 36 saves on 38 shots faced, and a 1.00 goals-against average.
On the season, Jaillet has an 18-4-4 record with a 1.82 GAA and a .932 save percentage, all of which lead NCHC netminders.
