The USPHL has announced that Pueblo Bulls blueliner Austin Gipson has been named the Mountain Division Defenseman of the Week.

Gipson, a 2002 birth year from Colorado Springs, was a standout USPHL Elite defenseman last year with the Hampton Roads Whalers, and is already making his mark in the USPHL Premier this season, illustrating the power of the USPHL Development Model.

Last weekend, Gipson posted a goal and three assists in the Bulls’ three-game sweep of the Provo Riverblades.

During his youth career, Gipson skated for the Littleton Hawks, Colorado Springs Tigers and for Pine Creek High School.
