Colorado natives Craig, Ebbinghaus notch weekly honors from USPHL

A pair of Colorado natives have earned weekly honors from the USPHL.

Boston Jr. Bruins defenseman Cameron Craig (Larkspur) is the New England Division Defenseman of the Week and Rogue Valley Royals defenseman Blaze Ebbinghaus (Breckenridge) is the Northwest Division Defenseman of the Week.

Craig, a Post University (NCAA Division II) recruit, put up a pair of assists and was plus-3 in three more Jr. Bruins wins as they have gone on a 10-0 winning streak. Craig, a third-year Jr. Bruin, is just seven games away from the regular-season 100-game mark for his career.

In 15 games, his eight points have already matched his single-season career-high from 2020-21.

Back home, Craig played for the Littleton Hockey Association.

Ebbinghaus, a USPHL rookie, moved to Southern Oregon from Summit High School. He was solid on the blue line for the Crown over the weekend, with a goal and assist on Saturday night.

Only one minor penalty was committed for Blaze during their three-game sweep at home.
