The USHL has announced that Dubuque Fighting Saints blueliner Fisher Scott is the Defenseman of the Week.

The 2004-born Carbondale native and Colorado College commit recorded a goal and two assists in two games last week

Scott assisted on a Noah Powell goal vs. the USA Hockey NTDP U18s last Friday and then scored the overtime game-winning goal and had an assist in Saturday’s 7-6 win over the U18s.

Stands tied for second amongst all USHL defensemen with three game-winning goals this year and has an 8-23—31 line in 57 games to rank 12th in USHL defenseman scoring on the season.

Back home, Scott played for the Aspen Leafs and Colorado Thunderbirds.
