The USPHL has announced that San Diego Sabers’ Ethan Blackburn is the Pacific Division Goalie of the Week.

Finishing up his first two games of the season, Blackburn, a 2002 birth year from Boulder, has a save percentage of .984. On Sept. 23, he had a 35-save shutout against the Bakersfield Roughnecks, and then came back stopping 27 of 28 in his second start.

Back home, Blackburn played for the Boulder Hockey Club, Monarch High School, and the Rocky Mountain RoughRiders.
